Yesterday, Disney confirmed its plans to release Star Wars: Episode VII in 2015, followed by a new Star Wars film every year thereafter. Coincidentally, yesterday also saw the Parks & Recreation producers release a video of guest star/geek scholar Patton Oswalt improvising about the future of the Star Wars universe. The improvisation turned into an epic eight-minute-plus pitch for a fever-dream Episode VII, a mega-crossover with the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Clash of the Titans that would feature a cuckolded Han Solo and a decapitated Chewbacca — who’s not dead, don’t worry, they’re making him a spider-robot body with ion cannon shoulders, but only for the post-credits sequence. Also, Boba Fett. Also also, Moon Knight.
Oswalt appears on tonight on Parks & Rec. In his honor, EW visual guru Jef Castro designed the movie poster for Oswalt’s Episode VII. Click on the image below for a full-sized view. Your move, Abrams.

(And, for non-geeks, here’s the visual inspiration.)
